The process for Endorsing School Level and Central Office Administrators is now in place. If you were a successful completer of the MI-LIFE course of study, we have submitted your name to the Professional Associations that will be handling the Endorsement process.
IMPORTANT: You must have an Administrator Certificate to be eligible for an Endorsement. If you do not, you cannot apply for an Endorsement.
The process for applying is as follows:
1. If you are a member of your Professional Association, contact the appropriate person as listed below requesting an application. There is no fee from the Associations to process your application if you are a member or were a member during the time you participated in the MI-LIFE Program.
2. If you are not a member of a Professional Association listed below, you can contact any one of the Associations requesting an application. There is a $29.00 processing fee for non-members.
3. Once your application is successfully completed, the Association to which you applied will make the recommendation for Endorsement to the Michigan Department of Education. We do not have any information as to whether MDE will be charging for Endorsements.
