The MI-LIFE Curriculum is aligned to standards from three resources: The Michigan School Improvement Framework, the twenty-one leadership responsibilities specifically correlated with student achievement from the McREL Balanced Leadership Framework™, and the Microsoft Education Competencies describing the full range of characteristics needed to help a school district achieve its organizational goals and vision. Public Act 0335 passed by the Michigan Legislature in August 2006 and signed by the Governor provides a voluntary certification/endorsement/enhancement process for Michigan Administrators.
